The National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTDSC) was launched in 2019. This new digital platform enables all accommodation providers to comply with their legal obligation to provide daily data by means of their own accommodation management software.
The Hungarian Tourism Agency provides the VENDÉGEM application free of charge to accommodation establishments with up to 8 rooms and 16 beds (including extra beds) to make daily data provision quick and easy. The software may be ordered free of charge on the NTDSC portal when registering your accommodation establishment.
If an accommodation provider wishes to use the VENDÉGEM application in more than one accommodation establishment, the use of the software must be requested individually for each accommodation establishment on the National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTDSC) registration interface. All eligibility conditions must be met for each accommodation establishment.
National Tourism Data Supply Centre (NTDSC), the biggest and most comprehensive project of the tourism industry sector, was launched in 2019 under the supervision of Hungarian Tourism Agency. NTDSC is a digital platform that makes visible all data on turnover statistics of all accommodation establishments in the country anonymously, in real time. Through direct online connection, the data of the accommodation establishments are used to create reports, analyses and statements for the tourism sector and legal authorities.
Pursuant to the laws in effect, all accommodation establishments operated by accommodation service providers in Hungary have to be registered in NTDSC. Registered accommodation service providers supply daily anonymous statistics on the visitor numbers of the accommodation establishment through the guest registration system. NTDSC registration and data reporting is monitored by the regionally competent notary.
The VENDÉGEM application is available for free through the website of the National Tourism Data Supply Centre, upon the registration of the given accommodation establishment. Once the user submits the request of the software, the system will automatically send them a special contract to their registered e-mail address. This contract is available in the VENDÉGEM application on the page of the accommodation establishment under Documents / Certificate option. Users can log into the VENDÉGEM application with their Client Gate authentication code.
